Etymology: Vögel mit viel schwarzem Gefieder werden in der Vogelnamensgebung gerne mit dem Wortzusatz „Trauer“ versehen. Denn durch dieses „Trauerkleid“ unterscheiden sie sich von verwandten Arten, die nicht schwarz gefärbt sind. [lbv.de]
Appearance and identification: Kleiner SW Vogel, Kopf schwarz mit weissem Punkt an der Stirn, Bauch weiss. Gesang gar nicht traurig! [Link]
