Songs of springtime in February 2023 in the woods by Fehraltorf.

I biked to the forest house at 16:30 and got to hear a beautiful song thrush concert. I submitted a shorter version of the song thrush concert to XenoCanto. A total of 7 species is included.

General: Took a walk in the woods near the forest house and heard a 12-minute concert by a song thrush. Everywhere else I walked there were song thrushes singing as well as a blackbird and a few chaffinches and Eurasian wrens.

Spring feeling in the woods near the Staldenweiher lake.:

General: 2023-02-21 in Fehraltorf
General: Took a walk in the woods on all sides of Staldenweiher und heard the Eurasian wren sing beautifully and for the first time this year, as well as a short-toed treecreeper singing a short 4-note version of its song. That's good, as I need to learn better to distinguish the treecreepers by song. And heard a number of woodpeckers, and saw a small one that was probably the Lesser spotted woodpecker.
