Birding excursion in Appenzell/St. Gallen with Tom Bischof, April 2024

The highlight for me was finally observing and photographing white-throated dippers (Wasseramsel). Besides that I saw a black stork the very first time thanks to Tom, saw a grey wagtail for the first time since two years (and by the way, they're not called yellow wagtails, because that's already the name of the Schafstelze), heard lots of songbirds, saw how Tom's nephew Ron took 1500 photos (I only took 183), and joined a lot of interesting/interested people. And all that only 9 days after my glioblastoma operation. A total of 23 species is included.
