Birds, even at MadCool and Madrid 2025

Old friends, some surprises like the many European goldfinches and the crested larks singing in the fields near MadCool. Monk parakeets again - I see they're described as an invasive species that endangers sparrows and pigeons, which I find hard to believe. Magpies hopping around the botanical garden, the spotless starlings that we saw in Sicily, and even something new for the life list, an Iberian green woodpecker! A total of 7 species is included.
