Another trip to La Sauge with Rob Ward

Another enjoyable trip to La Sauge. I should have expected that I didn't see anything new, but I got to hear some (and even seen a few) of my favorites: nightingales, cuckoos, reed warblers, a reed bunting. Merlin reported a Common Greenshank und Sanderling. We didn't get to see the kingfisher at their mating grounds but a beautiful white wagtail took advantage of their absence. German names of things others saw and heard, but I didn't: Fischadler, Purpurreiher, Rohrweihe, Wasserralle, Regenbrachvogel, Raubseeschwalbe, Flussseeschwalben, Feldlerche, Mauersegler, Sandregenpfeifer, Grünschenkel, Flussuferläufer, Flussseeschwalbe, Mehlschwalbe, Drosselrohrsänger, Seidensänger, Schafstelze, Schilfrohrsänger, Beutelmeise, Alpensegler, Gartenrotschwanz, Steinschmätzer, Girlitz, Schwarzmilan, Rohrschwirl. A total of 23 species is included, 23 of them have been observed.
