Viele Voegel sind im Winter am Mittelmeer oder in Afrika, dafuer haben wir einige Zugvoegel. Die meisten Baume haben wenig bis keine Blaetter, darum sieht man Voegel die ab April sich verstecken koennen.

Ab 11. Januar haben dieses Jahr Blaumeisen und Kohlmeisen angefangen zu singen. Im Vogelkalender hat einer geschrieben, die Zaunkoenige koennten ab Dreikoenigstag, also 6. Januar, wieder singen, aber ich glaube das ist nur eine Fantasie wegen dem Namen. Andere Quellen sagen ab Februar, und ich hoere keine in Januar. A total of 21 species is included, 21 of them have been observed.
